Mission & Vision

The Holy Hoops Basketball League continues to develop young athletes with a Christ-centered approach to sports. Our goal is to instill discipline, teamwork, and leadership while enhancing players’ basketball IQ and competitive skills. We aim to create a positive environment where youth can grow in their faith, build lifelong friendships, and prepare for higher levels of play while maintaining Christian values.

Age Divisions & Skill Development

Disciples Division (Ages 13-15)

Fundamental Refinement & Competitive Play
Players in this division focus on skill advancement, strategic decision-making, and leadership. While individual skill development is emphasized, teamwork, sportsmanship, and a strong understanding of the game are also prioritized.

Skills & Focus Areas:
• Advanced Ball Handling – One-on-one moves, hesitation dribbles, and handling pressure situations.
• Game-Speed Shooting – Mid-range jump shots, three-pointers, and finishing at the rim under pressure.
• Passing Under Pressure – Fast break passing, no-look passes, and creating scoring opportunities for teammates.
• Defensive Tactics – Learning to switch on defense, help-side principles, and closeouts.
• Basketball IQ – Recognizing plays, reading defenses, and executing in-game adjustments.
• Faith & Character Development – Learning accountability, perseverance, and integrity on and off the court.

Apostles Division (Ages 15-17)

High-Level Competition & Leadership Development
This division prepares players for advanced basketball competition while focusing on leadership, responsibility, and teamwork. Athletes refine their technical skills while being challenged in game-like situations to make quick, effective decisions.

Skills & Focus Areas:
• Elite Ball Handling – Breaking down defenders, attacking off the dribble, and handling full-court pressure.
